A big THANK YOU to the nearly 40 volunteers who attended the recent National Family Volunteer Day at Aldridge Lane Park in Corralitos. They painted about 200 feet of fence line, removed weeds from the horseshoe pit and large open space areas in the park, raked leaves, scrubbed the water fountain, and did general clean up. Everyone enjoyed coffee and donuts in the morning and in the afternoon, a volunteer grilled hot dogs that were donated by the Corralitos Market

Felton Community Deck - November, 2018

Ron Trader, a Felton resident, is one of Santa Cruz County Parks newest volunteers. Ron approached Parks a couple months ago with the idea of refurbishing the Felton Community Deck - the deck in the middle of town underneath the Redwood Tree that is lit up every holiday season. After signing up as a volunteer, he went straight to work and just about done with the project. The newly-refurbished deck is looking fantastic! Thank you to Ron and all of the Parks volunteers for all that you do for our community!
