Kreative Kids Classes and Programs

                 Kids' Night Out

Kids ages 4-9 can enjoy an evening of friends and creativity with us while their parents have a night out of their own! Art, music, stories and free play are included in this fun night. We'll share supper by candlelight and are sure to have more fun than mom and dad!  

Instructor Freesia Raine worked for County Parks for over 20 years, primarily as the founder and coordinator of the Kreative Kids program.  She has led many classes in percussion, singing and songwriting with pre-K through elementary ages, as well as after-school classes in cooking and art.  

Wilder Hall, Ben Lomond - Ages 4 1/2 to 9 years

All Kids’ Night Out events are held 5:30-9:30 p.m.

NOTE - a $3.00 material fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the event.

Kreative Kids Spring Theater - Ages 5-9

A unique musical theater experience for kids ages 5-9 where every child is a star.  In a supportive and playful environment, students develop confidence and collaboration skills while learning lines and lyrics. (No reading or memorization skill is required, but students must be able to attend class without their parent.)  Class series is held at Wilder Hall (home of Kreative Kids preschool program) in Ben Lomond and concludes with an evening show for families.  Participating parents must assist with simple costuming, scenery and props. Each family provides snacks for one class meeting and for the performance night.  Hand-outs detail the play’s needs as it evolves.

All classes, including the performance, are held at Wilder Hall in Ben Lomond, the home of Kreative Kids Preschool Enrichment Program.

Kidsong Chorus - Ages 4˝-9

In this creative and fun musical class, students learn new songs and explore rhythms and percussion instruments, while building confidence and vocal skills. The class also explores creative movement, ASL (sign language) and beginning songwriting.  At the last class students will share what they’ve learned and created in an informal performance for families and local senior citizens.   (date & time to be chosen by consensus of participants) .
