Wedding and Party Facilities

Notice:  The Facilities Office will be closed for County holidays and furlough from  Friday, December 23, 2011  through  Monday, January 2, 2012 .  Applications for facility rentals may be mailed, faxed or emailed and will be processed in the order received when we re-open on January 3, 2012. 

Charming historical structures, natural park settings, beautifully landscaped grounds or a grand mansion. The County Parks has a site perfect for your wedding, reception, party, company event or retreat. Our flexible policies allow you to bring in your own caterer or self cater and make your event as formal or as casual as you prefer.

For additional information, download the sites and rental fees. When you check availability, keep in mind that there is only one event per day at each facility. When you are ready to book, you can download the conditions of use, the reservation application, and return them to the County Parks office at 979 17th Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 (in the Simpkins Family Swim Center) or fax in your application to (831)454-7940. Be sure to read the Agreement to Hold Harmless. You may phone in your reservations to (831)454-7938 during our office hours Monday-Friday.

Facilities

• Aptos Village Park - 100 Aptos Creek Road Aptos, CA

  The setting is a lush, beautiful park with a clubhouse, large patio, gazebo and BBQ. Ceremonies are held on the lawn with stately trees as background or in the pretty gazebo. It is nestled between the beaches and hills of Aptos just five minutes off of Highway 1.

• Highlands Park - 8500 Highway 9 Ben Lomond, CA

  This popular wedding facility includes a lovely mansion with beautifully landscaped grounds and a grand room with hardwood floors for dancing. The lawn offers privacy in a park setting for a ceremony or reception. It is located in San Lorenzo Valley just 15 minutes from Santa Cruz or Highway 17.

• Quail Hollow Ranch - 800 Quail Hollow Road Felton, CA

  This charming ranch is historically significant and ecologically notable for rare and diverse habitats. The ranch house and spacious lawn offer scenic views of the orchard and wooded hillsides. It is located 15 minutes from the City of Santa Cruz in the hills of San Lorenzo Valley.

• Valencia Hall - 2555 Valencia Road Aptos, CA

  This restored historic building resonates with charm. A lovely covered porch welcomes you to the beautifully restored hall. An orchard and towering redwoods border the facility. It is located five minutes from Highway 1 in rural Aptos.

If you are finalizing your plans for an existing reservation and will make changes to your reservation times, please submit the change request form by the 1st of the month preceding your reservation date. All changes are subject to approval by the Facilities office.
