SuperKid Triathlon
Sunday, October 10, 2010 - Simpkins Family Swim Center
Co-sponsored by the Santa Cruz County
Department of Parks and SHARP. This is a great event for the whole
family and gives your children the opportunity to be triathletes, with
a swim, bike and run course, real transition area, body markings and
awards for all participants. Kids will swim in the Simpkins Swim
Center pool, and bike and run through the adjacent park on dirt roads
and trails. On the bike course, children must wear an ANSI approved
helmet, and ride a fat-tire, mountain or cyclecross bike (no skinny
tires or road bikes).
All participants will receive a finisher's
medal, t-shirt, swim cap, free raffle ticket, water bottle and other

Proceeds from SuperKid go to the
non-profit organization Supporters and Helpers of Arts, Recreation and
Parks (SHARP) for summer camperships, and youth and athletic groups
volunteering at the event. Event volunteers are always needed!
