Private Contractor Lessons
The department is now offering private lessons taught by contracted instructors, each of whom has a minimum of three years experience teaching swim lessons, and one or both of the following certifications: Water Safety Certificate issued by the American Red Cross; a coaches certificate issued by U.S.A. Swimming.

Her swim instruction experience is extensive and encompasses working with children with a wide range of learning differences and special needs to technical stroke instruction for triathletes. Her teaching style is sensitive, caring and direct, with a focus on guiding students to meet their personal capabilities and potential in the water. Jane is available to teach all levels of swimmers including fearful adults, special needs, stroke improvement. |

Jane
has loved the water since she was a baby. She grew up in a small
community where she participated in summer swim programs throughout
her childhood and teenage years. Jane has been a lifeguard, coached
swim teams, managed pools and has been teaching swimming for over 24
