Superkid Triathlon Camps
Introductory Triathlon Camp
This week-long camp is designed to introduce kids of all levels and abilities to the popular sport of triathlon. Skills taught include basic swimming, cycling and running in addition to bike safety and maintenance, transition training, good sportsmanship, race rules and nutrition. The camp will end on Friday with a mini-triathlon and celebration, complete with a special "finisher's medal" for each athlete. Every participant will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, nutritious snacks each day, and lunch on Friday after their race.
Prerequisite: Each camper must be able to ride a bike, swim 25 yards, and run at least 1 lap on a track.

Intermediate/Advanced Triathlon Camp
This 3-day camp is designed for kids who have already competed in a triathlon or who already have triathlon-like athletic experience, and are ready to improve their skills and abilities as multi-sport athletes. Focus will be on developing specific swim, transition, and bike & run skills. Campers will be expected to participate at a higher level, keep a food and exercise diary, and be willing to push themselves a little harder than in the Introductory Triathlon Camp.
Prerequisite: Each camper must be able to ride a bike 4-5 miles, swim 100 yards, and run at least 4 laps on a track.

As a USAT Sanctioned event, each camper will receive a 1-year youth membership to USA Triathlon. Penni Bengston of Finish Line Productions is a USAT Certified Level 1 Coach, Certified Race Director, USAT Race Official, and an Ironman Competitor.
