McGregor Park

The 1.25 acre McGregor parcel was formally dedicated as park land in November 2007.

The master planning process for this park began with a series of three public visioning meetings. Proposed elements for the park include a picnic area, skate elements, turf area, playground, small amphitheater, walking paths and restroom.

The Parks and Recreation Commission approved the draft master plan at their October 6, 2008 meeting.   The County of Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors approved the McGregor Park Master Plan at their December 9, 2008 meeting.  County of Santa Cruz Parks Department staff is working with a civil engineer consultant to prepare documents for Design Review Group submittal in late fall 2010.
