Art Exhibitions
Paintings, prints, crafts, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, drawings, and mixed-media works by local artists and crafts people are exhibited year-round at the County Government Center, 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz. Exhibits typically run for 2-3 months on the first and fifth floors. The Government Center is open to the public from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Artists interested in showing their work at a County facility (Government Center, Simpkins Family Swim Center, Health Services Agency, and others) should contact the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County at 475-9600 for more information, or visit their webiste at www.ccscc.org. Application materials are typically due in early November for exhibitions taking place the following calendar year.
