The Santa Cruz County Department of Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services is preparing to respond to the Light Brown Apple Moth treatment scheduled by the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
The Parks Department is monitoring CDFA treatment plans and will continue to keep irrigation systems activated within the parks. In addition, the Parks Department will use water spray to hose down playground equipment, park picnic tables, benches and other park amenities as soon as possible after spraying.
