Renaissance Camp 2016

Now in its 30th year! This innovative and exciting program for children ages 6-12 brings together art and science in an atmosphere of recreation. Participants receive hands-on art and science instruction each day from trained and experienced staff. In addition, participants will have fun taking part in special events, playing organized games and sports, cooking, music, open house (pictured), and making new friends.

Local (e.g. UCSC Arboretum - pictured) and out-of-county field trips (e.g. San Francisco Exploratorium) are included in registration fees. Special guest speakers and an open house are also included. Please note: the site is closed on all field trip days.

A week before camp begins, parents will receive an information handbook and an emergency information card. Please be sure to review the information in the handbook and fill out the emergency card completely. The emergency card must be given to the site staff on the first day of camp. Send your child with a lunch and snacks each day, wearing closed-toe shoes (e.g. sneakers). Your child must be enrolled in the Camp Program in order to enroll in any of the AM or PM care options, including drop-in AM or PM care.

Ren Camp is held at Aptos Village Park, Monday-Friday, June 13-July 1.

Art Studio 95003 and Science Exploration (2-week camps) will be held at Aptos Park starting July 11. Current and former Ren Camp staff will be teaching lessons of the same quality you've come to expect from Ren Camp. Click HERE for more information about these camps.
